brighteyes-eye-drops 120 x 240First, a quick reminder about the article The Eye of a Patriot with Bright Eyes, in which I wrote about the state of the cataracts that I have in both my eyes and what action I intended to take.

"Eventually, the cataract in my left eye clouded over the pupil, so that eye is now effectively blind and I can see nothing through it unless it is very bright.  The result is when I do the site now I find that after awhile, the strain on my right eye becomes too great and it starts flashing and blurring so I have to keep on taking breaks, which I find most frustrating as I am trying to get some article out or research done which sometimes makes me irritable with people I have to deal with."

Well as those of you who have been following this story know, I ordered a two weeks supply of the treatment from Bright Eyes in Switzerland and have now completed one week of the treatment and thought I should appraise you of the progress so far.

Well considering that cataracts take a long time to develop, we should guess that they will also take a fair time to be dissolved, should the product produce the result the manufacturers claim and so I will be writing a weekly report on my evaluation of their treatment.

I had expected that such a revolutionary treatment would have had lots of people writing about it in forums - but no.  So I guess this experiment on myself will provide a service to others using the product or to find out about whether it works.

Well early signs are good.  Now it could be imagination, but the right eye with the least developed cataract seems to have improved remarkably.  Vision with my glasses on is superb and crystal clear and I suppose it is a bit like looking at a high definition movie than a standard one.  This of course could, has I said, be my imagination but I do not think so.

Now, the left eye as you recall was useless.  At the opticians I could not even see the eye chart let alone anything on it and in fact was unable to see a hand in front of my face.

Well after one week I can now make out not just my hand but the fingers on it also and so there is a definite improvement and if this kind of progress continues I will be a very happy bunny.

One of the main tests I am using to evaluate the product is the local street lighting on a straight road.  There are seven bright lights disappearing into the distance.

Now in the dark I can see a glow for four of the lights.  Last night, for the first time, I "thought" I could begin to make out the glow of the other three but again this may be wishful thinking.  So the test continues and there will be a weekly report published every Saturday.

Now as you might remember the cost of this treatment is not cheap and I could not afford to order the full course of the eye drops, however a well wisher from overseas sent me the following email.  I have left his name out for privacy reasons.

Dear Sir,
I just have transferred a donation of GBP 250 via PayPal to you which is destined for Mr "Green Arrow",  the author of the article   " The Eye of a Patriot with Bright Eyes" in the British Resistance of 20 October 2012.
This donation is meant for him to buy the medicine of Bright Eyes, mentioned in his article, for which he presently lacks the funds.
Expect this donation to arrive after 4 to 6 workdays.
Please take care that this donation reaches him for this purpose.

Thanking you in anticipation and wishing Mr "Green Arrow"  all the best, I remain,

Yours sincerely

Well all I can do is thank the individual concerned, not just on behalf of myself but other cataract sufferers should the treatment work.

Well the cheque will be cleared on Monday and then I will order the full course of treatment and continue with it.  So once again, thank you Sir for your very generous gift donation.

I have decided that I will remain on the waiting list for eye surgery (nine months) in the event that the treatment does not work but have also decided that I will refuse early surgery treatment as a result of someone else cancelling, as I strongly feel now that someone needs to evaluate this product and report on it.
