Help stop the Fuel Tax hikes

You have to hand it to the rag Sun, unlike the Daily Mirror they know when to jump on a bandwagon and do it with their usual style of presenting lots of curvy young ladies for their male readership to oggle at, before they read about the campaign they are reporting on - or rather hijacking.
Never mind, if it helps get the message out, then fine. Must try it and see. Think I will aim at the Welsh Market and see if an image of a sexy shorn sheep striking a seductive pose does anything for the articles hit rate.
This time, the Sun is bringing to the attention of those of their readers who can actually read, the news about Taxpayer's Alliance latest campaign to get the tax on Fuel Duty frozen.
By all accounts, The UK has the highest fuel taxes in the European Union with 60 per cent of what customers pay at the pumps going straight into the tax-man's coffers, before winding up in the pockets of either bankers or third world leaders as "foreign aid".
When drivers pay £30 at the till, around £18 of that is paid straight to the Exchequer, with only the remaining £12 covering the cost of the fuel - including just £1 to the retailer. The Government is currently set to add to that burden by increasing the tax early next year.
Motorists deserve at least a freeze in Fuel Duty for the rest of this Parliament, but the Taxpayer's Alliance say they need your help to stop the planned hikes.
So please visit the link above and then you can add your voice to calls for lower Fuel Duty. Remember it was the Taxpayer's Alliance that forced the rat Chancellor to do a huge U-turn and suspend the planned 4p per litre tax rise that should have come into force on January the 1st.
Elite Commander - over to you.
