Heads up guys and pay attention

The sun is blazing down and you can bet that the colonisers of Our Country are loving it. I remember once my father saying to me, after he and my mother returned from the South of France, that it was a lovely country that was only spoiled by the French.
He may have been right. In my travels with the Royal Navy, the only navy I never liked drinking with was the French Navy. Americans - great, South Africans - great, Germans - great. French - pile of steaming something that steams.
Well we know what the colonisers think of us. They despise us, they envy us, they hate us but they like our country and the benefits that we provide for them and so they will be saying "This could be a nice Country if it wasn't for the British" to which one will reply: "Patience, We will soon be rid of them."
But forget that topic for now, because I want to talk to you about our commenting system and I really would like you to take on-board what I am about to write.
Although I try to read all comments, I am usually forced to just skim read or even delete them without reading because of time constraints. I know that our Deputy Editor, the Corsham Crusader will let me know if there is something I should really see.
Now it appears that some of you have forgotten our previously written about guidelines regards commenting on the site and so it has fallen on me to remind you of a few simple rules that we would appreciate you abiding by. I know that there are others also besides the Corsham Crusader who would welcome your adherence to these rules.
Off Topic Comments
We appreciate and welcome off topic comments that link to important stories. What we do not want and will no longer allow is for an articles comment to be diverted from the original subject. I have instructed the Corsham Crusader to be ruthless in this matter.
One Line Comments.
One line comments that say nothing will be the first to be deleted. As will links to videos and stories with no supporting text giving a description of where the link takes you.
Multiple IDs.
Some of you sometimes appear to be having conversations with yourselves as you post under different names and thereby abuse the real purpose of "anonymous" posting. When we catch you doing this, WE WILL NOT PUBLISH ANY COMMENTS you make regardless of how important they may be.
Finally, the finally. If you wish to debate a subject then we have a perfectly good forum that is rarely used except by a few. Give it a go and then you can write and comment about anything you like. The forum needs life breathing into it and the links to it are in one of the banners.
