Julian Assange - One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter

Chris Beverley, who is the EU personal assistant to British National Party MEP, Andrew Brons has written over on his blog and republished on the BNP website, that Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks (who is currently under arrest by The Establishment on what are probably trumped up charges) should be treated as a terrorist.
Chris said, that it should never be forgotten that Wikileaks was also the organisation which published the British National Party’s membership list. He should have really written, that Wikileaks was one of just many sites that republished the list of BNP members as the information was already out in the public domain. I did email them and ask them to remove it but received no reply.
The article itself makes some very good points but I am afraid I must disagree with what Chris has written and also one of the statements that he makes, concerns me a little. Best you go read the article and then come back here.
Now whilst, I agree it was wrong to republish the addresses of anyone, we must also remember that the information made available by Wikileaks also assists us in revealing the true perfidiousness of the The Establishment and the New World Order. A good example is the republishing by Wikileaks of the UAF/Searchlight emailing list that revealed all the politicians, union officials, local authorities and other low lifes who subscribe to their violent and repugnant views. Swings and roundabouts come to mind.
Now the bit that mildly concerned me, was when Chris wrote:-
Wikileaks is deliberately organised in a way that puts it beyond any jurisdiction and this gives it a huge amount of power without it having to be accountable in any way whatsoever.
Assange has put himself in a position in which he feels he can to leak information and endanger other people’s lives without there being any danger of him having to face legal consequences for his actions. This is simply wrong.
Of course Wikileaks was organised that way. It might have escaped Chris's notice but we are at war with an enemy that launches illegal wars, that murders those who reveal the truth about them and I think that legal consequences are the last thing that Julian Assange is worrying about right now. I suspect he is more concerned for his personal safety and should decline any offers to go for a walk in the woods with a blunt penknife.
I hope that we will now see his "insurance policy" published so we may learn more about the corruption of the banking system and I for one will never be accountable to anyone except myself and my conscience and I think he feels the same way about what he publishes.
