Dead..zzz..Soldiers....snore. Labour MP Stephen Pound Sleeps, Wake Him Up When It's Over

We've soldiers out dying in Afghanistan - just since 14 September we've another 3 dead.
Lance Corporal Duane Groom, killed by a roadside bomb. Private Thomas Wroe and Sergeant Gareth Thursby, both killed by a man wearing an Afghan police uniform.
That's 430 British soldiers dead, 5 since the start of September.
So what does miserable Labour MP for Ealing North, one Stephen Pound, do during a commons discussion on the two most recent deaths?
He only goes and falls asleep!
We shouldn't be in Afghanistan, not one soldier should have died there, but the least a Labour MP could do is stay awake when hearing of soldiers' deaths in an illegal war Labour had a bloody big hand in.
You can bet the treasonous old git would have managed to stay awake if it was a debate about MP's expenses, or giving MP's a pay rise.
British soldiers dead in the aftermath of an illegal war of the politicians making though?
Forgive the language, but f*ck them - it's nap time.
He can't even be bothered to offer an apology - it's not "oh, sorry, I'd been working a 20 hour shift in service of my constituents and the people I was elected to serve, I nodded off".
Nope, we get some feeble excuse of "The pictures are awful. I was actually looking down at my phone.
"I didn't fall asleep in the Chamber, particularly not in such a sensitive discussion as that. I was obviously looking at my phone".
That's not enough for Stephen Pound though - after the attempted lie was seen through as obvious bull, he's now trotting out the line of:
"I have absolutely no recollection of it at all, I have had a look at it and I entirely accept that I did fall asleep. I have no recollection of it and I'm seeing my doctor."
Poor you, our collective heart no doubt bleeds. Those poor sods in the politician made and profits driven conflict need a lot more than a doctor after the bombs and bullets ended their lives early.
That's what British soldiers are worth to our politicians though - a snore, an attempted lie, and a pathetic excuse when rumbled.
Soldiers die, an MP snores and no doubt dreams of expenses claims and a subsidised Commons lunch complete with a few nice bottles of red.
Pack the old bugger off out to Helmand, slap a uniform on him, see what time he gets to kip then.
In fact shove the lot of them out there, they made this war and ensure that it continues. Let 'em fight in it themselves, they can lead by example.
