A Schism is defined as a division in a movement or organisation.
Nationalism is currently going through many splits and the factions are numerous. For the older Nationalists the factionalist nature within Nationalist politics is nothing new, and has been a feature of the right of politics for many years.
The issue continues to be what defines Nationalism?
I would argue that the failed National Socialist policies of the thirties are not, nor cannot define nationalism in the 21st Century. Their counterpart Socialists policies of the same period are also out of date. These same socialist and Communist policies are part of the reason that Britain and Europe are in the current crisis. Liberal Socialist Consumerism does not work!
The movements within Nationalism cannot be described as counter Jihad, the counter Jihad movement being a direct result of the rise of Islam due to the failed policies mentioned above. The nationalist movement has joined the counter Jihad movement because it is politically expedient to do so.
The conflict within nationalism will ultimately define the nature of the Nationalist movement in the coming century.
The two competing movements in Britain are Civic Nationalism and Racial/Cultural/Ethnic or Ethno nationalism.
Racial Nationalism defines a nation along racial lines, Ethno or Ethnic Nationalism defines a nation along ethnic lines, and for the ordinary reader Cultural Nationalism is defining a nation along cultural lines.
True 21st Century nationalism can be defined along Racial/Ethnic/Cultural lines, and this triumphate of nationalism is the only true nationalism, and the only one which given help and support will protect our people, and the people of Europe.
None of these can be considered racist, as racism can be defined as believing yourself superior to other races. Although the left are as we speak attempting to redefine racism as discrimination because of race. Another falsehood!
Civic Nationalism is not Nationalism; its whole concept is to support the policy of Globalism and Multi-Culturalism. British Civic Nationalism is a poor substitute for the counter Jihad movements in Europe, which in themselves alone cannot solve the issues which need to be addressed in 21st Century Europe.
It is my argument that the flawed nationalism espoused by the EDL and Freedom Party which promotes Civic Nationalism and counts anyone as a citizen is nothing more than Neo-Conservatism. People may just as well join the main parties. The counter Jihad movement in Europe cannot be described as a nationalist movement at all. Civic Nationalism and Counter Jihad promote multi-cultural society and Globalism, which is contrary to Nationalism in every regard.
It is time for a schism in Nationalism between the flawed Civic Nationalism of the EDL and Freedom Party. Only true racial/ethnic/cultural Nationalism has the combined strength to make the changes needed to ensure a future for Europe and the European peoples.
As an Ethno-Nationalist I am biased, but even an objective viewpoint can support these facts.
Being British and European is a right not a given.
