BNP Leadership Election Results

According to first reports and after a recount, it seems that Nick Griffin may have retained his position as chairman by just nine votes.
This being the case it is a damn pity that those opposed to Nick Griffin and his corrupt administration, who rushed off to join or start other political parties had not stayed behind to support Andrew Brons.
Then again, hindsight is a wonderful thing but so too were the expulsions of so many honset people by the chairman before the vote could take place.
I suspect that pleas now for people to rally behind the "democratically" elected chairman will fall on deaf years and the battle contine.
Full Result and confirmed count
Nick Griffin(thieving con artist) 1157,
Andrew Brons 1148
From Nick Griffin's Twitter site:
Won by nine votes. Battle of Waterloo job: hard pounding, and a damned close thing!
Not a result to be proud of chairman but rest assured you have only won a stay of execution not the war. You will be brought to justice.
