lionwithflag_120_x_114It is, at all times, the right and correct thing to foster friendship amongst fellow nationalists, even in the face of mild provocation and difficult personalities.

But sometimes doing the gentlemanly thing becomes counter-productive and this is one of those times, where it is better to speak the truth (and shame the devil) for the benefit of the movement.

According to my sources the leadership of Britain First has been pressed to provide a response to the latest post on the BNP Ideas website, entitled ‘The attitude of BNP factions towards each other’.

Whilst they probably could spend a significant amount of time drafting a courteous letter to Andrew Brons, the question must be: why should they actually bother?

It is time for all mature nationalists to accept the reality of the situation and adopt the correct perspective free from personal preferences or inclinations.

For example: let’s take the case of Britain First whom I have observed closely.

Britain First has dozens of real branches around the country, its own professional looking magazine, its own office headquarters, its own administration operation and call centre, an impressive leaflet range, a leadership team/constitution, its own political party, a successful campaigning website which has attracted almost 20,000 actions.

Britain First is gaining publicity, organising demonstrations, producing videos, hosting national speaking tours, they possess a large and obviously growing paid-up membership, they have founded substantial internal groups (such as their veterans’ group, membership now over 150 so I am told) and have engaged in dozens of petition stalls nationwide, and they also have some very experienced and capable people on board.

Britain First can bring all of this to the general nationalist table at any time – so we must enquire: what can any of the other existing groups bring to the table and what can Mr Brons, who is only ‘talking’ about ‘exploring’ the opportunities of having talks about having another meeting to form a think tank to ‘discuss’ the future ‘possibilities’ of outlining the futility of establishing any new group or party perhaps sometime in the future, depending on how the talks go IF they ever happen at all!

Mr Brons seems content to continue to ignore the elephant in the room and instead insists in pushing a plethora of tiny non-existent ‘parties’ (such as the Freedom Democrats) as a potential vehicle or platform for whatever intellectual thesis that emerges from out of the deep recesses of his think tank and its mysterious (but obviously cerebrally superior) contributors.

Mr Brons is now stating that nothing substantial can be achieved until ‘unity’ is secured.

Can you imagine gathering the National Front, English Democrats, the British Freedom Party, the BNP, NF, Britain First and all the rest, into one room and expect them to do anything other than descend into chaos or murder?

The hierarchy in Team Brons know full well that ‘unity’ will never be achieved, therefore doing nothing other than thinking about maybe holding talks about perhaps having a meeting where the possibilities of a future think tank may or may not be discussed gives Team Brons the appearance of doing something rather than just talking about talks.  The veneer of work hiding chronic procrastination could be, and not unfairly, be applied here some may say!

Making ‘unity’ a precondition before ‘doing something’ is a very shrewd move, some may even say cynical, as Team Brons knows that ‘unity’ of the kind they are proposing is an impossibility even if it is an idealistically attractive sentiment.

Whilst preaching the gospel of ‘unity’ the main players in Britain First have not, to my knowledge, had any official letter, telephone call, email or handshake from the Brons camp.

This, I have been told, is because certain ‘old school tie types’ look at ‘Cockney barrow boy’ Golding and ‘see you Jimmy’ Glaswegian Dowson as a pair of ‘oiks’.

Mr Brons talks about class prejudices whilst conveniently overlooking that several of his colleagues would rather insert a starving ferret into their rectum than sit (on equal terms) at the same table as the council estate bred Golding and Dowson who obviously have” ideas above their station “ the cheeky boys.

There is a snobbery problem, but it emanates from others and is aimed specifically at Britain First as far as I and many others see.

I have asked several of the leaders of Britain First and they have confirmed that they haven’t been recipient of ANY requests for talks.

I have also made enquiries and can confirm also that several others of the parties mentioned by Mr Brons have also not received any enquiries looking for common ground.

It is all well and good to pontificate about ‘unity’, but where is the substance in this proclamation?

Britain First, as has been stated many times, fully supports the call for unity, reconciliation and cooperation, but I suspect they also think it is preposterous that such calls should come from quarters that have nothing to offer anyone and who have no proven track record of building anything!

The Freedom Democrats, the British Freedom Party, the Democratic Nationalists, and so on, do not ‘exist’ in any realistic form other than a handful of people and an official registration form from the Electoral Commission (which anyone can do).

Much of their presence is only manifest in the pages of obscure blogs and websites and the self-aggrandising proclamations of the leaders of said groups.

Why these micro non-entities would even be mentioned by anyone in a serious way in the nationalist movement beggars belief and is an indication of the desperation now rife among the ranks of the great talkers and self-appointed intellectual ‘fathers’ of our movement.  Filling in an Electoral Commission form and uploading a website does not qualify as a ‘movement’!

Likewise, building think-tanks and an ever increasing number of websites, and ‘talking’ about making ‘plans’ to do something at some unspecified future date but only after an impossible ‘unity’ has been achieved does not, in the real world, amount to being in a position of authority or to set oneself up as benefactor to the rest of the nationalist movement.

First there was BNP Reform, then there was BNPIdeas, then there was the Brent Group, then there was the Centre for Democratic Nationalism, then there was the Democratic Nationalists – where does it all end?

Honestly, five groupings in less than one year and now plans to launch more!

This prodigious procrastination if not prevaricating and ‘empty shell’ building would even put the notorious self aggrandising fantasist Pat Harrington to shame!

And despite the whole myriad of ‘groups’ named above that have been set up by Mr Brons and his inner circle, do any of these units actually ‘exist’ in real terms apart from perhaps a website or tatty blog?
This is the bottom line: the ONLY nationalist organisations that actually and truly exist are the British National Party, the English Democrats and Britain First.

Until any other groups of people actually put THEIR money where their mouths are and perform, build and create, real and tangible structures, there is no need whatsoever for the leaderships of these three organisations to negotiate with anyone except each other, because these are the only organisations that have anything to offer both each other and OUR people.

To include any of the aforementioned non-existent, micro groups/think-tanks in some illusory unity initiative would be akin to giving Albania a seat on the UN Security Council!

What nationalism is experiencing at the moment is a similar scenario to what happened after the collapse of the old National Front: the old foundations and unity crumbled, followed by a period of difficulty, followed by the emergence of one of the new contenders into a position of success and relative dominance.

It is time to judge nationalists by their ACTIONS, not their WORDS or their possible plans or use words at a future meeting to discuss plans to set up a virtual think tank/parallel structure to perhaps advise in the future in the formation of anything that may come out from these future possible discussions !

I urge all right thinking patriots to now go away and think about the nationalist ‘scene’ from this perspective and to re-group mentally, and please remember, talk is cheap and God knows we have all heard enough TALK to last a life time this last year!

So judge each man, woman or group on their ACTIONS not their words and we won’t go far wrong.
