Nationalists are becoming increasingly confused, frustrated and utterly exasperated at the continued dithering, inaction and procrastination of Andrew Brons, and his preoccupation with inventing new illusionary ‘think tanks’ and internal groups.
However, it is a big mistake to continue to pressurise - and blame - Andrew Brons for not doing things he never promised to do in the first place.
He has never said he would start - let alone lead - another new party!
So, what the hell is going on then?
This article is in no way hostile to Andrew Brons: for all his faults, he is a decent, honest man and a genuine ‘old school’ nationalist - his credentials are beyond reproach.
However, all nationalists need to step back, open their eyes and analyze what the reality of our situation is.
Self-delusion is not going to help anyone, or the Cause.
Andrew Brons, after years of self-imposed isolation was catapulted to the fore by his fluke election as an MEP in a region where little BNP resources were deployed.
Was he prominent in the movement and known before his election?
Apart from a brief stint in the 1980s where he was involved in the internal splits of the NF, Andrew has had a fairly uneventful public profile these last 30 years.
The vast majority of nationalists were surprised to hear the previously unknown name of ‘Andrew Brons’ after the European Elections (2009) polling day.
Based on his pre-election nationalist history, his age, and his self-proclaimed lack of political ambition, does Mr Brons deserve the ‘Messiah’ label (much to Andrew’s own embarrassment) attached to him by many who barely know the man?
Let’s be brutally honest here: Mr Brons did very little during the Euros to get elected, and what about his record/achievements SINCE getting elected?
On one of the British Resistance’s Paltalk shows, Mr Brons stated unequivocally that his role in nationalism is in the European Parliament. Since getting elected, Andrew has thrown himself head-first into the nonsensical talking shop that is the European Parliament, with its caviar and champagne lifestyle.
Andrew Brons has spent years now working incredibly hard on the endless conveyor belt of 1-minute speeches, convoluted research on peripheral issues such as wind farms in the Ukraine, or orange production in Portugal, and so on.
There is no doubt that Andrew is doing what all good MEPS are supposed to do, i.e. be completely neutered by submerging oneself in benign pseudo-political hogwash that matters little to the people back home who are suffering in multicultural Britain.
To most BNP leadership folk, past and present, Andrew Brons is literally ‘defined’ by his inordinate dedication to his EU work.
I am sure you know what any of his grandiose 1-minute speeches and ‘research’ EVER contribute to the national struggle in Britain, or ever could.
Large numbers of Andrew’s present supporters/followers are becoming increasingly upset at the ridiculous amount of time he spends in the European Parliament, and the extreme importance he attaches to the place.
But, to be fair, Andrew Brons is not alone, as Nick Griffin is well known also to be an extreme devotee of the mad-house known to us as the ‘European Parliament’.
So ask yourself: why have nationalists put him up on the pedestal and hailed him as a great white hope for nationalism?
The answer is simple: DESPERATION.
Desperation to get rid of Nick Griffin and his corrupt, immoral cronies, and an amazing propensity to pin the badge of ‘saviour’ on anyone who they see (erroneously) as being an alternative leader.
This is combined with the ambitions of a few ‘little’ men who use Andrew as a vehicle to quench their personal thirst for recognition, acclaim and importance.
Nationalists need to understand that Andrew has NEVER stated that he will start a new party – in fact, at every twist and turn, he has done all he can – in words and writing – to argue AGAINST such an enterprise!
Here we come to the crux of the matter: why has there emerged a substantial chorus of noise – primarily on the internet – that a new party was going to be launched at some point by Andrew Brons?
Here is the truth at long last:
Working with Mr Brons in the European Parliament, as an extremely well-paid ‘researcher’, is a former Conservative/UKIP/BNP would –be-Toff called Andrew Moffat.
In September 1980 he was discharged from the Coldstream Guards without explanation (a rare occurrence indeed in the Army, usually implying an embarrassing event that would bring both parties involved into disrepute).
He also remains close to the infamous former homosexual NF organiser, Martin Webster, to this day.
Andrew Moffat was a leading light/candidate in Nigel Farage’s UK Independence Party, but again left in uncertain circumstances.
He was known as a factionalist and trouble-maker by many and a lonesome fantasist by others.
Moffat was also close to the south-west ‘awkward squad’ cartel that included the website-crasher Simon Bennett and the ‘legal lunatic’ Lee Barnes.
Unknown to most BNP folk, Mr Mofatt has been involved in the Party for several years, but for the first couple of years liked to present himself to people as some sort of James Bond style ‘spy’ who was providing cloak and dagger info on his old former party, UKIP.
He forbade any use, whether orally, in cyberspace or in publications, of his name being used in relation to the BNP.
Most BNP leadership folk simply dismissed his insistence on anonymity as the cowardice endemic with upper-class Tories and as yet another side of his quirky ‘Walter Mitty’ style personality.
Mr Moffat was then placed on the secure Euro payroll (by Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons) for an extremely large monthly fee (passing over the heads of BNP activists who have contributed far more to the Cause) and used this job, and the access to Mr Brons and Griffin that it gave him, to worm his way into the inner circles without working his way through the ranks of the Party like most people.
Almost everyone who came into contact with Mr Moffat during this time (almost always whilst he was living the life of riley at the European Parliament with Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons) noticed his rampant ego and his constant self-praise as a potential future leader of the BNP.
Mr Moffat is famed for his generous self-appraisal: his leaflets are the best the BNP has “ever produced”, and his upper class credentials surely mark him down as the best candidate to succeed Nick Griffin as leader, or so he was fond of telling people.
Andrew Moffat is DESPERATE to become ‘leader’ of something, and he saw his opportunity at the start of 2010.
During this time, he detached himself from Nick Griffin and started cosying up to Andrew Brons – he moved out of Nick Griffin’s office in the European Parliament and into Mr Brons’ office.
He then became a Golum like figure to Mr Brons, praising and flattering whenever and wherever he could (witnessed by many), eagerly anticipating the day on the horizon when Mr Brons would topple Nick Griffin and hand the Party over to Andrew Moffat as a ‘polished’ figurehead.
Believe it or not, this WAS the plan in the event of an Andrew Brons victory.
Simply ask any senior member of Mr Brons’ team and ask them to swear on their honour whether it is true or not.
Andrew Brons has never been interested in forming a new party, and takes very little to do with the BNP Ideas website, but unfortunately the ambitions and out-of-control ego of ex-UKIP reject Andrew Moffat is starting to do Mr Brons personal damage, and that is the primary reason for this article.
Andrew Moffat, and several others around him, are pushing, cajoling and pressurising Andrew Brons into starting a new nationalist party, as Mr Moffat see this as the only hope of achieving his goal of being ‘leader’ of something.
Whilst Andrew Brons sits back and concentrates on his role as an MEP (with his retirement on the horizon), Andrew Moffat is trading on his name and pushing the agenda to form a new party, primarily to suit his own personal agenda, while being scrupulously careful not to raise his own head too much above the parapet.
Mr Moffat is responsible for raising the hopes of nationalists that a new party might be formed, not Andrew Brons, and it is Mr Moffat who should bear the brunt of our frustration and sense of being lead up the garden path for the last six months, NOT Mr Brons.
All of the recent articles that have wrought Mr Brons so much hassle bear the mark of Mr Moffat , such as the insulting and condescending one where Mr Brons – supposedly – asks whether he is “going too fast” for us grunts.
We need to get this into our heads: Andrew will NEVER form a new party, NEVER.
Any noise, clutter, statements or insinuations to the contrary are simply the result of the ego and ambition of the unrecognised genius in our midsts, one Andrew Moffat, and should be ignored and dismissed for the self-serving garbage they are.
So in summary, please do not direct any more venom towards Andrew Brons, please reserve it for the real menace in the BNPIdeas camp, Andrew Moffat, a political failure, a crank, a UKIP reject, and a shameless political charlatan who is happy to play fast and loose with the future of our movement and the good will of our people whilst not having the courage to come out into the open like other nationalist leaders.
In fact, let’s celebrate the works and dedication of Andrew Brons before his retirement.
Some may say his effort to dislodge Nick Griffin has been ineffectual, and his work as an MEP has contributed little to the national struggle, but he is a genuine nationalist, a believer, and has been involved for most of his life. He could have ignored the Griffin/Harrington fiasco but he chose to fight honourably and nearly succeeded in toppling these vile creatures and for this alone he deserves our respect.
Andrew Brons, we salute you sir, but please, before your reputation is sullied any further, rid yourself of these parasitical little men who would use you as a pawn in their pathetic and childish attempt to be ‘important’.
