Most supporters of Britain First are supportive of our new approach to patriotic politics: focussing on campaigning rather than engaging (exclusively) in the media-rigged elections rat-race.
The age-old nationalist strategy of trying to win elections channels all of our energy, determination, hopes and aspirations into a rigged electoral ‘dead end’ that ends in failure and bitter disappointment, leading to infighting, internal rancour and splits.
Coupled with this is the reality that when elections are not on the horizon, any movement tends to ‘down the tools’, relax and wait for the next election to arise, thus preventing any real cohesive growth among our people and besieged communities....this vicious and highly destructive cycle has got to be broken!
It is with great sadness that we have to report yet another fresh electoral humiliation for nationalism in Britain.
In Thursday’s much hyped parliamentary by-election in Feltham and Heston, the British National Party’s vote collapsed to a mere 2.3%.
In fact, the BNP’s vote collapsed from around 1,714 to a paltry 540 votes.
This was despite the hard work from the decent local activists and the cynical false promises and bluster of the failed and discredited leadership of the BNP.
This fresh electoral hammering comes on top of other recent humiliations: In St Mary's ward, Islington, the BNP polled 0.9% of the vote and in Aldborough ward, Redbridge, the BNP polled 1.2%.
In fact, all of these elections took place within Greater London and do not bode well for the forthcoming GLA elections.
Even more worrying is that the BNP was completely trounced by the fluffy, single issue, multicultural UKIP party, who polled more than three times the BNP vote despite the BNP beating them in this seat last time round!
At this juncture, the Britain First leadership calls on the adherents of the ‘BNPIdeas’ group to see sense and to find common ground with our movement, rather than offering legions of dedicated activists nothing more than a futile waiting game and the promise (to materialise at some stage in the future) of potentially taking over the BNP and continuing with the same failed, elections-based fiasco.
Inflicting this on yet another generation of nationalists is wrong and we all need to acknowledge this reality!
There are one of two things happening here:
1) The BNP is now so toxic with the voting public because of a disastrous Question Time appearance and constant self-inflicted media gaffes that it is being decisively rejected at every election.
2) Any patriotic/nationalist organisation that goes down the ‘elections’ route will end up toxic because of the hostility of the media and will forever be unable to make significant and worthwhile electoral gains.
Either way, all of this simply proves the correctness of Britain First’s approach: concentrating solely on elections is a recipe for disaster.
Britain First offers an entirely new ethos: we want our branches engaged constantly in effective activism, campaigns and community, grass roots politics.
Our activists and supporters will never face major disappointment because our entire existence doesn’t hinge on the ‘next big election’.
Our branches will – for the moment – be engaging in local elections only and other worthwhile opportunities, but we will not be leading our supporters down the same, age-old, failed road of electoral humiliations and impotence.
Let’s be clear here: we as a people have at best 20 years before the Islamic/immigrant demographic tsunami engulfs this nation.
Our survival is by no means assured! Therefore our current collective obsession with chasing the electoral fantasy is robbing our children of time we and our children simply do not have.
It’s time to face the new realities and find new ways to serve our people while we still can!
If you want a fresh, non-toxic but radical new approach to patriotic politics, then now is the time to join the only credible alternative...Britain First!
