paulgolding2_120_x_145I rarely feel the need to comment on affairs in the British National Party these days because of the huge effort going on all the time trying to build the Britain First movement.

But today has left me particularly perturbed and exasperated.

Along with dozens of other ex BNP officials, I resigned from the BNP because of the disgraceful mismanagement, corruption and cronyism that was rampant in the BNP under Nick Griffin.

Whilst essentially ‘outside’ of the BNP since March, I still had my fingers crossed that the internal opposition could wrestle control of the party and then once again new opportunities for renewal of the movement could be made possible.

Today, I must admit, any last vestige of hope that the BNP could be rescued died within me.

I am sure hundreds more feel the same.

I am sorry if this sounds nihilistic, but all nationalists simply must face facts, however uncomfortable.

I know from speaking to hundreds of nationalists that people want action, leadership and a complete change of direction.

  • Instead of providing leadership, we see dithering.
  • Instead of resolute action, we see procrastination.
  • Instead of facing reality, we see ridiculous and time consuming pipedreams.

The strategy of the internal BNP opposition seems to amount to a nothing more than: sit, wait, sit, wait, hope, pray, hope, pray, fingers crossed for better times.

If the internal opposition had seized the moment and started a new party, Nick Griffin and his gang of EU-payroll miscreants would have been lumbered with the legal costs, the debts and the toxic reputation.
Griffin and Co would have continued to suffer electoral humiliations and the already fast shrinking membership would have dissipated to a tiny rump very quickly, leaving the field open for new formations.
If they chose action instead of time wasting, a gigantic chunk of British nationalism would have fallen into their lap, devoid of debts and a toxic image.

Instead, nationalists are being asked to continue sitting on their hands and praying for divine intervention.

Even though I am no longer a BNP member, I still care passionately for the movement and the ordinary members.

I am still proud to have given such a huge chunk of my adult life to our noble cause despite the recent meltdown.

But as I have moved on, so must others.

At the beginning of this year, I and several other nationalists decided that we should found a new organisation in case the efforts to dislodge Nick Griffin failed.

Taking this course of action would be extremely difficult and fraught with headaches, but at least it would give nationalism a new foundation on which to build if the internal opposition to Griffin floundered.

Our suspicions were proved correct: Nick Griffin is now the unchallengeable leader for the next four years and the BNP is now effectively finished in credible, electable format.

It exists now only to furnish his family and close friends with salaries and to possibly get him re-elected as an MEP in 2014 to continue his champagne and caviar lifestyle on the euro gravy train that he loves so much.

I now feel very disappointed in the leadership shown (or lack of) by those who have squandered a golden opportunity to save the British nationalist movement.

I am sure that, like me, your patience has run out.

So what now?

Well, enough is enough. No more time wasting, no more waiting, no more dithering.

Are we feeble minded children or are we Patriots, proud and ready for action?

It is time to move on.

I apologise if this sounds heavily partisan, but Britain First was built for this moment, when all hope of salvaging previous incarnations evaporated.
Nationalists face a choice:

1) Stay within the BNP and continue to suffer disappointment, humiliation and farce, continuing to be associated with the dodgy practises and scandalous behaviour but pretend things are ok by ‘enrolling’ in  the ludicrous ‘Secret Army’ that was adopted today, or;

2) Join the only credible alternative, Britain First.
Within a matter of weeks (once the Electoral Commission pulls its finger out) Britain First will have a new political party under its belt, as an integral part of the movement.

I can disclose that after today’s disappointment; several former high ranking nationalists have picked up the phone and are to join Britain First.

Please stay posted for announcements shortly.

I am personally dismayed at the prospect of  so many good nationalists wasting yet more time dodging the inevitable by being ‘led’ down another blind alley on the road to political oblivion.

This is a new beginning for our movement, and the fight back starts today.
