BBC News 24 Reporter admits rioters are predominantly black

Someone will be out of a job this morning.
I flicked over the TV to BBC News 24 at about 23:55 last night to get the weather forecast. After ten minutes I started to pick out landmarks around the flames that proved to me that the pictures were not coming from some place like Tunisia, Libya, Bahrain, Sudan or Syria.
Then I heard the News24 link man in the studio ask one of their "roving reporters" on the street - all of them dressed in hoodies to avoid being mugged and beaten while they phone their accounts back to the news room - the unbelievably stupid (for his career prospects) question "what was the makeup of the crowd".
Maybe he was hoping to hear something about the age of the people concerned, about how they had been failed by a government that promised them Oxbridge places in return for their one O level - in "Equality and Diversity Studies" of course but than failed to make good on the promise by funding the courses, and how Michelle Obama can't fund them now Yankland has been downgraded to an AA+ bananna republic by those NASTY Credit Agencies.
I bet you a piece of Croydon pavement he was not prepared for the answer.
After a sort of silence that could only be interpreted as the roving reporter thinking "are you mad you'll get us both sacked" the faltering voice started "well, it's true and it has to be said the crowds of rioters and looters are predominantly black although it is fair to say that while the crowds were indeed predominantly black when the trouble started in the poorer areas of London, now that it has moved out to the more affluent areas thare are more white faces in the crowd"
I bet the National Union of Journalists (or should that be Communist Party of Britain) will be clamouring for them both to be expelled from the Union and thus lose their jobs right now.
Oh yes, Can someone please tell Simon Darby he's put his foot in his mouth - again. He's mouthing off that no-one has made public the ethnicity of the rioters.
Well, the photo evidence is plain for all to see and the BBC News 24 team have said what we all know to be the truth.
If he was man enough to allow comments on his site like he used to, I'd have put a small footnote in his comments pointing to the fact that he is now in error. As he won't allow comments I'll have to tweet news of his cock-up to all and sundry to correct his stupid mistake.
