The New British National Party Logo

I think one of the best bits of advice I ever received from my mother, was that if you cannot find something nice to say about something or someone, then stay silent.
Well that is how I felt on first seeing the new British National Party logo. It was a done deal so I figured just say nothing and carry on. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, etc, etc.
I will not bother asking who designed it, how much it cost, who selected it, what were the alternatives. Pointless now and besides having sat staring at it for awhile, I find I actually quite like it. It has the flag, a tattered battle flag if you will and that is surely symbolic. And looking again, I can see it as a Crusader Shield with the Cross of St George and England in the centre and that could be seen to symbolise the new militancy that was promised at the recent party conference. I'm all for that.

And talking about the conference. Great news all round, at least I thought so. The debts are being wiped out and the British National Party has learned a hard lesson about over staffing. The people in the Party who kept screaming "Gizza a job" might now realise that no matter how valuable their contribution to our cause, there is not at this moment in time the money available to employ them. Patience kinsmen, patience.
Finally, the article on the main site about the forthcoming proportional representation elections in Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland got me really excited and I am looking forward to publishing lots of positive articles and images during the run up to the elections.
So, if you have campaign images or stories you would like published then please email them in. Actually it was the image from the conference (above) that really made me have second thoughts about the logo. It looked so right.
